Some of the machinery is over 150 years old and SWAPS, the South Western Agriculture Preservation Socity, are helping me organize and manage this unique collection. Here are a few examples of the equipment i have on display:
Thrashing box - which was used to separate the grain from the corn
Sack lifter - simple device to lift a wiltshire sack onto a mans back. These sacks weighed 2¼ hundred weight (cwts), almost 11 stone!
Potato storter
Hand plough
Lots
of equipment for making hay
